I'm starting to notice that my 08 H3 is stalling when I put it in reverse. I'm pretty sure this only happens on cold starts and it's happening more often. I will put it in reverse and go to back out of the garage and it with spit and something die. Anyone have an idea?

 

back into the gar and park. see if it stalls in drive! then figger

No it doesn't do it when I go in drive. It only happens in reverse. Today when I started it up in the morning I let it idle for about 20 seconds before putting it in reverse and everything was fine.

 

i took an 07 from 37k to 57 k and my 10 from 9 to 19k,flawlessly without any unusual operation,in 95 degree summer and -10 winter.
flawlessly. i think the stocker they are the better , or more consistantly they run. i hate to think of changing ANYTHING, even plugs!!.
i change air filters routinely to keep it clean,thats one area to be concerned about.
the new paper filters look better than stock,,??who knows?. but no oiled crap for me.
i think the design must be a pretty good balance, mess with any part and expect changes/trouble
