Default Sputtering sound?

Aside from one of my headlights being out (d1s), when I was driving tonight, as I would go from a dead stop to maybe 10 mph, all the time was this kind of sputtering sound that picked up as the vehicle increased speed. Sounds like it was coming from the passenger side of the vehicle.

There was no loss of power.

Any ideas?

80K miles, always serviced. Alpha (5.3L V8)

Look online under the description and it comes up with fuel injection needs to be cleaned (ie. thrown in some techron, etc.).

Any advice?

Did you check for an exhaust leak?

My guess with the vague description would be an exhaust leak between the cylinder head and the exhaust manifold on the passenger side head. Also check for a cracked manifold. Pretty rare on the 5.3L LH8/LH9 but not unheard of.

As it turns out, it is the tires. As I have been told.

They are all-terrain and have been rotated regularly and that is what is making the noise, the uneven wear.

Does that sound right?

Yeah, I can hear it from the over here in the Clem if I open the back door of my building.

Uneven tire wear making a sputtering sound, ONLY, from 0-10mph, and the noise is ONLY, coming from the passenger side.
