Can anyone tell me the diameter of the 27 spline spindle? I’m looking to Frankenstein a play toy and considering a cv half shaft assembly from an H1.

Ultimately wonder which (if any) 27 spline wheel hub will work. Maybe 95-01 Explorer?

The H1 cv shaft outer spine section does not have a nut like other vehicles to preload the wheel bearing so you would be better off using another cv shaft from a different vehicle. The 1995-1997 S10 ZR2 cv shaft is a common 27 spline outer, much longer shaft than most small trucks and has an easy to use flanged inner tripod joint. They are pretty strong for a 27 spline shaft as well.
