Default Sound system problem

OK...bear with me me guys, I'm new. Just bought a 2007 H3 and only the tweeters are working. No door speakers or anything else. Got it from a Ford dealer, so I would appreciate the expertise from the esteemed masses here.

I'd start by asking the dealer to fix it,could work.
Or pull the panels and check the speakers.

I would tend to look at the other speakers, but being an electronics tech myself, I have serious doubts that ALL the other speakers quit at the same time. Sounds like an amp is dead. Just wondering where it or they might be.

If you just got the rig, how do you know all the speakers died at the same time? They may have just died off one by one and were not replaced.

I've had 2 of the 4 speakers go bad in the single year I've owned my vehicle.

Your POS OEM speakers quit.

I had both my front doors go at the same time. Replaced all four with Pioneer TS-A1674R 600W 6.5" 3-Way Coaxial Speakers and it sounds much better, and these are no super duper fancy speakers.

First I put in XTC speaker baffles (for weather protection and better sound direction) and then mounted up the Pioneers.

Compare OEM to the Pioneers.

Hey Doc, did you buy aftermarket H3 mounting adapters, or just screw them to the door structure?

The 6-1/2 Pioneers allowed me to drill, then put 4 screws in the door to mount them. 6-3/4" would probably fit a tad better because my screw holes were very close to the speaker opening. Some people have cut out the OEM speaker opening a bit and put in 7-8" speakers.

Right now, it's the dealer's problem, but as soon as they get it back to original, I'll be doing aftermarket stuff, no doubt.
