Cool but if you can skip the sunroof. They all leak at some point or another also not sure about others but I actually don't use mine as often as I though I would due to using the airconditioner. Congrats though!

 

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the future ride. Make sure ye post a picture when you get it. As long as you keep the drainage channels cleaned out and replace the seal at some point you will be fine. Just about any seal that gets alot of use needs to be replaced sooner than later. So if it is a 08 on down start thinking about replacing it at some point. Mine is fine and I love the sunroof.

I am definitely getting my sunroof and i am aware of the possible leaks but i am prepared to get all the things i read about looked at and fixed!!!!again --thanks gomer! This site is very informative and i love how your sharing of info is very needed...this will be my first truck....i've always had sport cars or sedans!!! So i'm really siked to be getting a truck!!! I will be posting many pics when i get and and all the mods i do as well!!!!

 

Welcome to the forums, I bought an 06 h3 a few months ago. I wish i had of read more on here about them but still lovebit. It is a tan looking grey lux one. I had to put new tires and all new brakes and ball joints and evap selinoid swell as windshield. I had the dreaded sunroof issue for a bit and the battery terminal trouble. I now have to replace the rack bushing and am trying to get one from hunner when i get some cash here soon. As well as Tue shocks. Prob will have to do The control arms too. The bushings look bad...... But it is in perfect shape and will be like mint when i get those things done. So check it out good before you buy it. At least i avoided the valve issue with it...

Welcome to HF and enjoy your truck. I have an 08 Alpha and no trouble with my sunroof,

 

We have owned 6 H3/H3Ts and 5 have had Sunroofs. Never had an issue with any of them leaking or tubes clogged. I never leave the roof open when our rigs are sitting.

 

I agree with the sunroof comments. I love mine as well. And only had the leak i think because the guy before me didn't clean it out ever... So all good now.
