Sometimes it's the minor upgrades that make the difference
This weekend I painted the lower bumper area of the ALPHA black using Dupli-Color Truck Bed Coating and it came out perfect. Removal of the piece was a little bit of a PIA, but nothing crazy. 2 hours on a Sunday well spent in my opinion. Any questions feel free to PM or ask.
I also swapped out the chrome mirrors and added the aero bug guard. (door handles are in the mail)
CUSTOM exhaust will be done tomorrow (flowmaster 44)...I'm EXCITED! Stay tuned.
Enjoy!!

Nice work. Thanks for posting the pics.
Tell me about that aero bug guard --Brand and $$. Is that a smokey translucent or a solid black color? Do you think that will helpwith debris pitting the windshield?

Thanks Tex...its theERG aero bug guard (XL) and its smoked, but reeeealy dark, there was a link to it on here somewhere. It came from Autoanything (>70.00 shipped if I recall). As for the effectiveness...I think so, but we'll see when it is bug season What I am positive about is, it will protect the edge of the hood, which was my concern.

Looks VERY nice. I like the surface.
I also have one of those bug guards now. They do help, plus they seem to deflect the wind a bit more off the windshield.

Thanks man...but with a can of bedliner on that small piece I DOUBT it will chip haha.
Also, I asked that question awhile back and was told the 08's and 06/7's were not the same?? Ahhhh well, its more fun to rip the front off of a new truck anyway
SOUND CLIPS TOMORROW.........

I have the bug guard also, it helps alittle. Looks good and like you said, if nothing else it does help prevent that "speckled" look on the hood from debris
Looks good. Almost like a Tactical now
