Problem seems resolved now, I found someone in a nearby town who has a set of 4 stock H3 rims and center pieces who will sell them to me for $250. I only need one, so I might even leave the other three with him in case he thinks he can sell them individually to someone else like me.

I don't mind buying new tires, but since they don't make the factory H3 tire anymore, I was able to find one locally used for $60.

When I get the new rim and tire installed, I will have the wheel locks that came with my H3 put on. I also like Doc Olds suggestion of parking with the rear very close to a wall. I'll do that for whenever I park at work late at night.

So the 4 rims I got were chrome ones - mine were not chrome. Not a big deal though, I'll just put 4 chrome on the front and one non-chrome on the spare and get a tire cover so it doesn't look out of place.

Question though - I just realized that there was an Adventure Package with a stock tires at 285 width, whereas my base width is 265. I didn't ask or check from the guy I bought the rims from whether or not he had the Adventure Package.

Say he had the Adventure Package on his H3, would it mean my 265 width tires wouldn't fit on his rim?

I'll find out on Monday anyway because that's when I'm getting my rims replaced, but would get some peace of mind if someone can chime in and let me know

The rims are the same size between base, lux and adventure, they fit both 265 and 285 tires.

Only their finish changes. I believe there is a choice of painted, polished, and chromed.

Yeah I do both, use lock nuts and park back to he wall most of the time and at home the H3 lives in a locked garage.

Wheels are expensive, our H3 came with silver wheels, and I wanted to upgrade to genuine chrome and the dealer wanted $2200 for 4 wheels

Needless to say I stayed with the silver wheels, about 3 weeks later I picked up four H3 chrome rims only for $400, swapped the tyres over and sold the standard ones for $250 on eBay, so cost me $150 for 4 chrome wheels.

Spare is still silver, but just last week picked up 4 chrome wheels and tyres for $350, bought them for my camping trailer, so now I have three for the trailer, (two and a spare) and I have a chrome spare for my H3.

Will buy a new mud tyre soon as a matching spare for the rest on the H3.

Never pay the $500 dealer price for a rim

I live in Canada so was hoping to buy from an actual online store rather than an individual seller on ebay, but I'll take a look at what's there.
Glad to hear you found the wheel you needed locally!
