ok here is the question some dude had the great idea of spray paint my white h2 with black paint and break my rear view mirrors i hit the guy with my bat but he got away he was screamin for the enviroment but i figure the spray paint doesnt help the enviroment di#$
i called the copsand they said if you can aford gas you can fix that

ok my question is how can i remove the spray paint from my truck without messing up my paint? he didnt paint the entire truck just the hood and broke my passenger mirror but the paint is the biggest problem

Try goof-off. I used it to remove paint from a freshly spray-painted sidewalk marking. White paint on a black H3.

 

The cops told you if you can afford the gas you can afford to fix it? Oh that would make me want to sue the cops and make them think twice about **** like that. Thats real bad press for them if you sue them and make them eat their words.

 

I've had good luck with mineral spirits, just make sure the hood is cool and use sparingly, then rewax ASAP. If it hasn't been in sunlight I'd just try waxing it off first, if that doesn't work, clay bar, then solvents. Good luck, it's sad that the enviroweenies feel entitled to ruin other peoples stuff.

 

I would try the claybar. I had pretty bad overspray on one car and the clay bar took care of it. It was not sprayed on like yours. Hopefully you broke his friggin knee cap.

 

i found some grafity removal sprai im going to try it tomorow since its raining out thanx for the help and i think i hit him pretty hard i dont think i broke of his bones lmao and about the cops they dicks i just got a ticket in bklyn and the cop told me the same thing.....

That story reaks of bull ****and everybody here knows.... the cops are required to file a report and you are allowed to press charges... especially if you saw the guy.... besides that's what insurance is for....

 

I've never heard of a cop saying something like that, the liability of that statement coming back on him and the Dept alone would never allow such a thing to be said.
