So the WIFE gets her Christmas Gift!!
So, I've been TALKING to my Dealer telling him how Shannon REALLY would like to upgrade to an 07 Escalade, but the US vs. Canada price difference is DRIVING ME NUTS!!
They list here for $92,000 plus taxes and they're like $59,000 in the States!!! And with our dollar so high, I told him I was thinking of going South to get one!!
So lo and behold, he tracks down one for me. It was registered as a GM EVENTS vehicle?? It has 2600 miles on it and he tells me it was used for auto shows!! Then maybe an executive demo!! Since it was ONLY titled as GM EVENTS!!
Of course it's BLACK with the Ebony Interior with every stinkin' option available.
Long story short, I got DRAGGED to my dealer today and signed all the paper work!!! It has to be shipped here, then all the gauges and stuff have to be changed over to KM and Celcius, so she should have it in 2-3 weeks!!
Sweet Deal too!! Cause it was a "DEMO", we're getting it for $49,998 CDN! Plus they're giving us $25,000 for the '05 one!! So basically, $25,000 out of pocket and my wife will BE HAPPY!!! Priceless!

it's the thought that counts.... mine said she didn't really want anything this year either... so I will just get some of those small memory gifts... you know...
