leaving my house today.. i was on my way to get a readylift kit installed along with some swamper tsl....well.. i never made it.

coming out of my house down the street, about 6 blocks or so, my steering locked up and the parking brake light came on.... so i forced it to the right off the road and as it slowed down, traction light, abs light, oil light, well all the lights came on in the dash, and the engine stopped. completely! i had power to everything, but it wouldnt turn over.

dealership sent a tech out 2 hours after i broke down (onstar called my dealer) he was stumped!

3-4 hours later a tow truck shows up, and it gets towed!!! still no word.

i have an off road trip coming up and rooms i paid for that are non refundable!! so im hoping they find out whats wrong. if you have any ideas please tell me!

on a brighter note...

i used my winch today!! go figure... i hooked it up to a buddys jeep and had to pull the truck up the curb out of the road! lmao

well, hopefully everything will be fixed.

 

If not see if they will give you a loaner.

Bad cell in your battery? If the voltage is off even a bit, the pcm will freak. Good as guess as any, but do let us know.

You truck was telling you not to waste $$for a ready lift kit you do not need! Keep the $ for the ready lift and buy front shocks. [&o] Starting to sound like a broken record, but it never ceases to amaze me how many people will shell out $$ for nothin??

 

it was some sort of blown fuse? im going to pick it up now. ill post soon.
