If you want to count the one wirlwind marriage the day before I shipped out for Desert Storm this would be my 3rd. I don't count it though because I got married (was 19 and stupid) 2 days before I left and was divorced before I ever saw the States again. My little sister has married the same guy 3 times!First ones almost never work out, there are a few that I know of. But it's only a few.

Good luck Stan, just don't repeat Christmas and you will fine

Horses seem to soothe their emotions quite a bit. Should help keep things under control.

Yes, horses do help. I am on my second as well although I don't like to count the first one because it didn't last a yearbefore I kicked him to the curb, plus I was really young... Loser...

I met this one in the military and we married 3 months after we met. We are going on 15 years now.

My first lasted 16 years only because I didn't believe in divorce, especially with kids. Second one is going on 10. Very good.

First wifespent all of her time at Fashion Island in Newport. Second could care less about Newport. Give hera horse, wranglers and a roof over her head and she is a happy camper. Very down to earth. First wife was like the Newport people your wife can't stand. I couldn't take much of that either. Moved her back to Texas and that was the end of marriage #1. LOL

Just for reference I'm calling the second one the first. LOL

The first came from nothing and wanted everything (handed to her). The second one came from everything and wants nothing, except me

My first came from a very wealthy family and expected me to maintain her lifestyle. Kind of hard at first. Then after things were going very well for me and I was in a position to spend the type of money on her she was used to I had a hard time doing it. I just wasn't raised that way. Moving her away from the good life and back to Texas was more than she could take. Thought it was the worst thing that could happen when she filed. But I got custody of my oldest girl ( she was 10 1/2 at the time ) and we figured out real quickly just how great things could be.
