WOW! WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN SOUND QUALITY!

And it didn't cost me that much either.

Pioneer Premier TS-A643P 6-1/2" 4-way A series speakers ($54.99/pair brand new) for front doors
Pioneer Premier TS-A933P 6"x9" 3-way A series speakers ($64.99/pair brand new) for rear doors
Pioneer Ipod cable interface ($37.99 new)
Metra 95-3304 double DIN dash install kit ($16.99 new)
Axxess GMOS-1 On-Star interface cable ($79.99)

The total price including installation fees was $961.95

The sound quality is amazing and the features on the new Avic head unit are quite abundant. Glad I went this route over buying the factory navigation system. For what it's worth, I priced this build out on Crutchfield.com and their price for parts alone totalled $1000.

Just brought home my brand new H3 the other day and would love to upgrade my system to something similar....would love to see pics.
Also, I just replaced my stock tires with 30570R16....what a differance.

 

when you did the upgrade ,did you have the volume control on the steering wheel ,does it still work with the new stereo.?mike

I don't know of any H3 or H3Ts with volume control on the steering wheel. Are we talking about the same vehicle?

I know this is off subject for ths thread, but you mentioned in your post that you put 305's on your H. What brand of tire did you go with and is your H3 leveled? If not, any rubbing issues? Can't decide whether to go with 295's or 305's on my unleveled H3T. Thanks.
