My brother called me this afternoonreally pissed off. He left for work and got two blocks away and his right passenger tire fell off and rolled past him... he called the cops because there were no lug nuts anywhere to be found and he suspected vandalism.Cop said they caught a guy last night keying trucks and he had over 20 lug nuts in his backpack...[:@] SO it's not all just hummer hate I guess.

when i worked for dodge, there were a handful of dealerships who were having wheels stolen from rams and grand cherokees...over the course of a week, the presumably same group stole something like 160 aluminum wheels! they eventually caught someone doing it, but the guy they caught was an employee of the dealership...he was just a copycat..what they would do, is stop by after hours, and loosen all of the lugnuts. then come back, and jackup one or two vehicle, putting them on blocks...during the evening, they would get all of the vehicles with loose lugnuts on blocks, with the wheels still on, then VERY early in the morning, they would come back and take all of the wheels.

 

especially when you could throw them at Toyotas......
