Tonight I had the choice to pull her out by the front or back, and I found what your talking about, thats how I winched her out, but the other guy I had no choice, and I told him to find a spot and that I was not responsible.

Now the funny part, as I was typing this I heard wheels spinning, I look out the window, I swear I'm not joking in the same spot a guy was stuck but to make matters worst there was a second car stuck right side by side to him, just got both of them out, I am not looking out the dam window again tonight

 

Send it in to Hummer. They are looking for stories about how people use their Hummers in emergencies or to help people. Might even make a commercial out of it.

 

Didn't realize they did all that. hmm, might do that.

Blackbear, that's crazy; I'd be up all night, for some weird reason I love doing that stuff.

 

I'm just complaining, if somebody gets stuck again I'll most probably go out again

 

we just got hit with a blizzard today... I ended up rescueing 8 vehicles including one that was torn apart by a jeeper... Arrived to location and jeep had just a regular rope attached to a plast grill guard of this guys car and ripped a nice chunk off... after a quick inspection turned out car had a tow point under the rear of the car where I attached and extracted easily...

It's not funny I guess for the guy who got his car ripped apart, but it would have been funny to see the jeep guys reaction when he did it LOL!!!

 

If you don't have anymore sense than that you really shouldn't be hooking up to anyone. Although I know he meant well.

 

These snow pictures are making me miss the midwest... We got 2"-3" once this year and it was melted by the time I got home from work... and we've only had a total of 10" for the season...

That's crazy! They said that we set a record 20.6" in a little over 24 hours. Not much to you up there, but for here it pretty much made everything crazy. We aren't used to much more than 5-6 at a time anymore. Seems like when I was a kid we got more snow, maybe it's just that I was little and seemed like more, IDK
