I just got done painting the lwer front skid plate. I know it's not perfect as far as paint jobs go, but I don't think it's too bad for where it's located. I don't know how long it will last since it's aluminium, but I'll keep you posted. Be honest, but not too brutal with the opinions.

i painted mineover a year ago and it's holding up fine - except for where the boulders have taken the paint off . . . . . . .

That's not too bad at all... and let's be honest.. you have to take it off everytime you change the oil.. so you should be able to touch it up if needed.

 

Not bad, I like it. Good job. I'll be doing an oil change this weekend, maybe next at the latest. I was gonna do a little polishing on my plate, clear coat it and slap it back on.

 

most of the paint is still on, but it's usually covered in mud and can't be seen anyway.

 

And I thought I was being original.

yeah.... black on yellow would have worked.... but the white is too much...
