Default Single Click From Take Off

Ok so this is stumping me. When ever I start driving from a re-ignition (i.e. even if I have been driving a while, park, turn the vehicle off, and back on), I get a small "click" in the steering wheel right when I start to drive, and that's it, nothing after that, and no adverse effects in the steering of the vehicle. I tried taking the cowl off the steering wheel to take a look, but with no avail. I decided to spray some silicone on the movable parts that were visible, but again no change. Any thoughts? Just kind of a nuisance if anything, now every time I go for a drive I expect this little click at the beginning.

Search for " steering intermediate shaft". It's a common issue.

Thanks, just took a look through some threads. I suppose that could be the issue, but the click doesn't seem to do anything with the steering wheel, and just with me accelerating when I first place it in drive (and sometimes reverse if I back up far enough). Do you think that's the same issue?

Yeah, no relation to turning the wheel.

Gf's h3 made a clicking noise too. Sprayed silicone on brake pedal assembly under dash at top of bracketry.
On another note it could be the rear pinion and yoke assembly. I had this in my Tj and it was annoying to say the least. The yoke loose proper pre load via the crush sleeve.
