Looks great 2luke....

do the headlights have only low beam? I've heard a good bright Xenon or HID low beam is better than the stock high beams so I wonder if that's really an issue. I've looked at the ones on ebay, it's mind numbing to see all the varieties and price ranges.

I guess you have to pay top dollar to get the best units that have ballast and high and low beam.

I've had a few rental cars in all my many business travels with those 6-8000K lights and they are a huge difference over stock halogen.

Guess I'm gonna have to pony up and get me a set. Let us know how the're holding up as you get some time on them.

Just to give you a heads up I'm keeping them on all the time even while I'm driving during the day to test them out. They aren't HID they are just colored like HID to get rid of the dull yellow look. As far as seeing distance at night it's a pretty nice improvement. There is no modifications when installing the bulbs I linked. Just pull the electrical connecter off turn the bulb out and replace with the new one and replug the wire back in. For the foglight... I used a flip flop to wedge inbetween the fender and wheel well cover at the bottom gave me enough room to look inside and watch my hand come up from the bottom. If your arm isn't really big (muscle builders) then you should be ok. Might have to get the women to do some dirty work. Just becareful so you don't touch the bulbs and get oil on them.

PS: They have both high and low.

Agirlfriend of mine has a 280 with the factory HID lights I'll try to remember to take a picture of them side by side at night next time she comes over. And the viewing distance.

Here we go again 06 vs 07. After reading the posts here I believe some of you installed the Sylvanias' on you 07s'. Correct? Sylvania's sight says " there are no products for a 2007 Hummer". I assume there wouldn't be a big difference, but thats what we thought about K&N. Any thoughts guys?[:@]

2Luke2, were those the 8500K bulbs that you & I spoke about from some Ebay Sellers? You mentioned that you had ordered some and were going to let us all know if they run hotter, and thus possibly melt the wiring harness. The ones I have are the Euro DeZigns Xenon-Krypton 8500k HID light bulbs. They are H13 which is the replacement number for H3's headlights.

I'm just afraid of frying my wiring harness.

Yep I have the H13 and H10 of that same brand. So far they are running great. I kept them on for 2hrs yesterday and they didn't seem to be running hot. This was also done with my hood up and in direct sunlight. I'll let you know if I have any problems. Btw if you like the headlights you should get the Fogs too to make the lights match.

Just installed the Silverstar S/Ts in my fog/headlights. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. They're very white and bright and only took a few minutes to install. Fairly cheap too!

Just anupdate here... the xenon's are still running strong and look great. They fit both the 06 and 07 so nothing changed there. They don't seem to run hot after driving for a few hours at night so... should be good to go. I'll let you guys/gals know if I have any problems.
