Very cool. I am interested to hear your opinion on the K&N !

 

I like it. It makes a noticeable improvement in performance.

 

Does anybody know how much horsepower the K&N actually adds to the engine.

 

According to their web site, it adds just over 18hp..

can you hear more engine noise? i knowi my power stroke you could hear alot of engine noise coming from the kn air filter with no cover on it. can you on this one ?

 

The K&N kit seems like a nice easy upgrade. My major concern is its effect on fording depth. I checked the K&N website but they had no information on this point. Anyone know the answer?

 

Nascar...Yes there is a distinctive intake howl when you put your foot in it..But I think it sounds mean[sm=lildevil.gif]

NJTEX..They sell bags you can put over the intake filter since it is exposed, that will stop water from soaking through...Off hand I think K&N does too.
