Default Side Wall Bubble

Hey Team, i'm new to all this..

I have a 2006 Hummer H3 - Yellow and it has about 24k on it. I just noticed that the front passenger tire has a very small bubble on the side wall.

Has anyone ever had this issue on their Hummer? If so you think the dealer will cover it under warrenty? - Im going to call them tomorrow and ask as well.

Thanks

I'd have to re-read the warranty info, but I think the tires have a seperate warranty by Goodyear or BFG as appropriate.

Tires are NOT a part of the truck, GM doesn't make tires. Pull your owners info out and check the tyre warranty, you may be SOL with 24K miles but it's worth a call to the manufacturer. Sidewall bubbles and not fixable and will always fail in time.

You can probably have the tire pro-rated and get some money off the purchase of a new tire.

Just went to the dealership today and the service manager OK'd it.
- They just replaced it on the spot while we waited in the lounge. Gatta say great service, they even dressed them all up with tire shine.

Glad they worked it out for you on the spot!

How big was the bubble? I've got a bump on the side wall and I'm heading in for an oil change soon...

Wow, they took care of you! Typically sidewall bubbles are the result of an impact and will just get worse. not a warranty issue. I'm sure that dealer will be eating the cost of that repair.
