Hi everyone -

Long story short, my passenger side mirror met the business end of a car wash blow dryer and no longer functions. Since I have to replace it I have been considering replacing it with the newer '06 mirror. My question is, is the wiring the same? I *think* this should be a simple swap but want to be sure.

I have the 05 and changed mine to the new style. I you have to change them both and they did wire up the same. I think I paid 600.00 apiece for mine. I still have my old ones.

 

are you interested in selling your old 2005 mirrors? do they work heat power fold auto dim etc are they chrome or black?

Yes I will sell them. They are black with the crome cover on the back. They are heated and fold in. There is nothing wrong with the passager side but the driver side works except for the folding in part. It will fold half way then stop and u push it and it will fold the rest of the way. Both look great no scratches or anything. Make me an offer if you want them.

 

right mirrors just need a set that totally work, have you looked into why the driver only folds in half way, just curious if i want to fix them, where are you located anywhere close to buffalo ny. do the mirrors have the auto dim feature. please advise.

 

Sorry for not getting back to you been on vacation. I have installed the newer ones so I have no reason to get them fixed. As far as the auot dim did they come stock with that? If they did them they would have it. I know the replacement one do. Oh I am in NC. Like I said make an offer or something to trade.
