Default Should I get Warranty on '04 hummer H2?

Anyone with insight,

I am a newbie to this site. I had a brand new H2 in '06 and turned it in off lease in '09 when we started having children. However, I really didn't want to part with it but had to with small kids coming and my wife not wanting to buy it. Recently I found one!!!! Needed to have it!

I am going to pick up my hummer this week. its an '04 in mint condition with only 31k miles. got it for $25k. They are offering a warranty for $3900. Its is 4 years or 48k miles. I will only be driving this Hummer like 3-4k miles a year. I am going to get the warranty. Dealer said, "The companies name is Warranty Solutions, we have been using them for years, it is a limited bumper to bumper that has a 100 deduct. It’s the best coverage for this vehicle. Said, "You can bring it to any ASE certified tech or the Cadillac dealer near you, and you just show the contract im going to give you.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would save the $3900 since h2's are pretty reliable. H2's can go for atleast 200000 miles without any major problems.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i am not going with the warranty. With the little I drive a year and the fact that most of the maintenance isn't covered anyway, I'll keep my money. Thanks again!!

I might keep the money but bank it for repairs. Very few vehicles go 200,000 miles without something big going boom.
