I bought a 2007 hummer h2 for my wife at the beggining of the year. I was just hand washing and getting ready to wax when i found a bead of silicone running the whole seam on the passenger side roof area. I still have ten thousand miles worth of bumper to bumper warranty so i am wondering if i should have that investigated a little closer. When i had it in to the hummer dealer he said he had his body guy look at it and he said it was not to stop a leak but how would he know if he didn't take the liner out or the silicone off. any suggestions

 

Yes, I would take it to a dealer and insist they figure out what the problem is. Claiming it isn't to stop a leak is nonsense.
