I just purchased my first H1, it's a 2000 wagon and its located about 1,350 miles from me. I'm half tempted to fly out and drive it back but am concerned about putting the miles/ wear and tear on the vehicle. Does anyone have any advice on what they would do? Driving it myself would obviously be cheaper then shipping and I'm itching to get behind the wheel but I could possibly end up costing myself more money and aggravation if something decides to break on the drive home. Thanks!

 

I don't see why you shouldn't do a drive like this if you want to do it. Make a holiday trip out of it even if you find that you have the time to do so. It really depends on whether you're able to take the time out of work to do it, but it could be one heck of an experience if you go ahead!

 

You really want to figure out what wrong with your new vehicle on the road 1,000 miles from home?

 

Did a shipment, didn't want know on the road stuck somewhere.. better ship it enjoy when its back..

 

The guys here pose really good points too mate. You have to consider the pros and the cons, but at the end of the day, do what makes you happy. And make sure that you do all your research before you make your final decision. Good luck!
