shift cable retainer

Default shift cable retainer
GM wants to sell me the whole cable assembly has any body found a retainer only or a good alternative fix ? 06 H2 SUT retainer at transmission

the cable ( GM # 15268403) is on national back order, looks like were fabing up a new set up at the trans. Probably better anyway.
