I have a 2005 H2 and after I have driven it sometimes I come out in the morning and the rear is sitting all the way down. I crank it up and she levels back out. Sometime it will never do it for a few weeks. I now something is leaking down but it should not be a hole in something because it does not happen all the time. Any suggestions?>?

 

It's your rear airbags they are leaking. It's a ~600 repair if you have someone else do it and the quicker you do i the better. Leaving them like this can result in period of time where the compressor runs continuously burning it out. That's an even more expensive repair.

 

why would it be the air bags. it only does this sometimes. one morning they are down then it could be 2 weeeks of sitting and does not drop any. I they there is a valve leaking that sticks sometimes but I am no expert

 

is there a blow off valve that is malfunctioning? or is the weather affecting it?

 

Is there any pattern to the issue? Do you carry loads in the back and it does it then? I've seen very minor leaks come and go, does it come and go consistently? Maybe the leak is small enough that you don't notice it until it gets to the point where the bag no longer supports the vehicle, kind of like how you can't tell a tire is losing air until it gets really bad.

 

No trend to it. One morning it can be all the way down then it can sit for 2 weeks and not drop any. Is there some type of release valve that could stick sometimes?
