Going out to dinner with the wife tonight. Check engine light comes on. Call Onstar, they do diagnostic check of the H3. She says misfire code, get it too a dealer asap. Ask me if I need a ride. Told her H3 was fine right now,I ask, are you having problems with the H3's. No, problems that I know of, get it into the dealer asap. 22000 miles. Going in on monday with documentation from here re. head issue. Hope to get a rental for a couple weeks. Will follow up later.

Mine is aug 05 just matter of time i guess.
I have 17,000 on mine the dealer told me once it past 12,000 i should not have any problems but what do they know.

 

7-05 is the build date, picked it up 10-05, I did vote with no problems, will wait to see if I am having a head problems before changing my vote.

that sucks bro...sorry to hear and unfortunetly the engine misfire code is the precurser to the head/valve issue. My dealer decided to do nothing about it and to tell me everything is ok, been 1000 miles or so and I haven't had any other trouble...just a matter of time I guess.

I think our build date is somewhere around the spring of 06. I guess if it happens, theres not much to do but let them fix it. It would still suck though. Luckly we have 2 other 4wd's so I guess we're covered.
