That is true. I moved it to the H3 FAQ section a while back. Easier to take out the fuse block than drain the AC.

Got it back yesterday...ran me 255.00 for the labor and 110.00 for the alternator. They didn't want to do the method of removing from the top and drained the AC instead to remove from the driver side wheel well.


I'm thinking of adding a capacitor for the stereo system (that probably helped to toast the alternator over time); would that help to alleviate the strain on the battery and alternator other than adding a second battery?
I'm running a JL jx500/1d (500Wx1 RMS into 2ohms) and a JL Bass Wedge 12-inch ported enclosure.
