hey...i have a squeaking noise in my front tires as im drivign and i can only assume its the wheel bearings or something...i called the hummer dealer n they said they wanna charge me 172 per hour for finding the problem and after that they will be me wat the problem is and how much to fix...im kinda short on money so is it ok to bring it to a regular autoshop???

i drive a 06 hummer...

By any shop standard, $172/hr is RIDICULOUS. This is the reason "stealers" have a bad rap. Rightly so. Where are you located? Hopefully you have a local shop familiar with our vehicles that can better handle your request. That's ridiculous.

i live in houston tx....im pretty sure its jus the wheel bearings or something..i dont wanna hafat pay them 172 dollars jus to tell me that...so u think regular shops can work on hummers?

Even California dealers charge way less than that ( $100-125/hour ) No way a dealer in Houston gets that rate. Try a chevy dealer.
