Default Seeking advice

Hi guys
I feel a very slight tremble thru my steering wheel while at idle. My H3 runs just fine. So I figured I should just clean my MAF sensor
and my throttle body. which I did. Now 2 years ago I installed the NGK iridium laser spark plugs. They say the plugs are good for 100K miles
Should believe this statement and change the spark plugs? or can it be one of the coils ? I would really appreciate the advice. Pleas

Try cleaning the plugs? And check gap.

you know that crossed my mind but the NGK's I have installed are supposed to last
100k miles. Weird! I ran out and bought the E3's. I will install them when it warms up a bit here. Thanks for the advice

If you have an I5 return the E3s and buy the AC delco iridium OEM plugs.
The I5 is very picky with plugs.
You will find plenty of threads on HF about this exact subject.

Oh well I tried to return the plugs. But no returns on electrical parts...

X2 X10. The ONLY plugs that will go 100K fore sure are the AC Delco OEM plugs. Anything else and you are setting yourself up for trouble in the future, sometimes less than 10-12K miles.

We are of course assuming you do understand that I5s do vibrate at idle as the I5 is not inherently balanced. It has free movements/vibrations of the first and second order, so it requires additional balance shafts.

Oh well since the auto parts will not take returns on electrical parts.
I decided to install the E'3s to my amazement the tremble has calmed down
alot. Wow! So I figured since I'm strapped for cash thanks to the holidays..lol
I would get thru the winter with them. I took the NGK's I removed and showed them to my mechanic. And he said they stopped firing hot enough for combustion. That was the cause of the tremble.
So I drove my truck for about 100 miles and she's running great.

See ya soon with the same issues. E3s don't last long in an I5.
