I picked up this 2007 H3 tactical for a good price


I was a little disappointed that someone decided to put chrome door handles on. I'm not sure if i can just take the chrome off . if someone sees this let me know. They seem to be plastic chrome. Once i get some money The tires and raise the front. Also wondering anyone put in one of those 250 to 300 dvd gps nav units you see on ebay? Anyhow this thing rides like brand new smells new and feels new.

 

I would change this title seems i had something clicked wrong

 

Alot of guys are using that plasti dip on their rigs.. Here is a link to a thread.. Anyone have a quick/easy way to paint H3 door logo black?

Being a true tactical edition I want to change the handles back to black. Im not sure if he changed the handles or if there just that chrome over kit.

 

Welcome to the forum... I would suggest taking one handle off to see if it is an overlay or not... Do the passenger side door. Easy to do with a 10mm socket...

 

The overlays are really obvious - so if it's not obvious, it's probably factory. The swap out is really quick IF you don't drop the screws into the door panel.
