Default SEATBELT MINDERS

Anyone know how to shut off the factory Seatbelt reminders? I have seen a bunch of other cars and trucks that you can do this too but nothing for the mighty H3... Any ideas?

Wear your seatbelt...

Or check out the numerous threads where everyone gets in to a debate over the seatbelt chime issue.

I actually like it. Sometimes I forget to buckle up and the chime helps.

You poor bastard.....Now you've gone and opened a can of worms ! ! !

If you feel like digging through them, there are a few options for you to try locatedin the following threads:

https://www.hummerforums.com/m_129131/tm.htm
https://www.hummerforums.com/m_44693/tm.htm
https://www.hummerforums.com/m_9346/tm.htm
https://www.hummerforums.com/m_166878/tm.htm

On all of the forums I frequent, I've never seen a way to de-program that feature.
The only way around it seems to be a bit of wire jumpering or a mechanical solution.

Personally, I've got a couple of belt ends a buddy kipped for me out of a wrecked H3.

I really only use them when I'm constantly getting in and out of the truck to load
hay bales on the trailer or to cut limbs and crap on the trail into our place down
at the river bottoms. As bad as I hate those Mother F*ck*ing things, I do wear
them on the street and when wheeling.

Good luck......

Dude.......[&:]

At least there hasn't been any complaints about the lack of child door locks on the rear doors on the 06's anymore..

LOL yeah I know. I almost feel like I'm the ugly step child here.... BUT... To each his own. Thanks for the info. I have been trying to get a couple belt ends to cut out but its pretty hard to find a wrecked H3's at any of the junk yards/salvage yards around me...
