Rubber piece under headlights
Anyone had an issue with the rubber pieces under the headlights. My truck is a 2007,not sure if it's on all years. There a 2 pcs, one under each headight about 24" long. One of mine has popped out of the track that holds it. It's very difficult to get to. I'm hoping I don't have to take part of the bumper off to fix.
Any suggestions.
Thx

You can access that rubber piece by only removing the front grille.
Two bolts out front and four on the inside engine bay.
Four snaps near the side markers and the whole thing is in your hands
Good luck

Smart choice, to wait until it is warmer. There are two plastic retainer clips on each end of the grille near the side markers, turn signals. These little plastic clips are notorious for breaking for no reason. I am sure cold temperatures may even contribute to that as well.
When all six bolts are removed from grille, grab the grille near the side marker, turn signal area and pul straight toward you.
If you end up breaking any of these clips here is the part number to order more
Part #11561829
Good luck
