OK guys, whats your opinion on having a ride of the year, I think it would be cool thing to do.
If we all agree, this would kick off only in December, the past twelve winners would all have to accept, who ever is not active, well there out and the vote would be based on the number of acceptances.

I think we should do it.... BUT... I think we should have the 7-8-9 from last year done now... and then start next years off in December like you said...

I especially agree with the have to accept part and add must still own the ride part...

 

I think it would be a good idea. Also wouldn't mind approaching a few of the sponsors about possibly donating something ( gift certificates ) to the winner to promote some participation.

 

See if you can talk them into donating a gobi stealth....

 

I mentioned this to Impy when he approached me in January to take care of the ROTM with Doc, and like he said, the sponsor already pay a pretty Penny every month plus they give members a discount, but if we all agree to the ROTY whats the worst the sponsors could tell us, NO

If we could get some kind of a gift certificate from our sponsors I say we don't even tell any body until the end to keep every thing on the up and up.

Also seeing that I would be part of the ROTY and I would just so happen to winI would give the certificate away to avoid any kind of scandal.

Sounds like fun. I kind of like the idea of keeping it for fun though. We have already had scandal and there wasn't even a prize involved! Just keep it for the pride and love of your truck. (I think I was born about 20-30 yrs too late) Just MO
