Ok ive searched the site a number of times and lots of info just not what i want....
First off does any one use a Yakima or thule type roof basket (like the warrior, mega warrior, MOAB) something along those lines
Second did you mount to your stock roof rails?
If not how did you do it or any body got any thoughts on how you could do it with out the rails?( ive seeen a few but on the rails they just sit two high)
Any of you guys with this type a rack can you throw up some pics i would like a rack to carry camping stuff and shovel high lift etc. but i dont really like any of the HIGHer priced ones just wondering wat you all did??? thanx guys?

 

i don't think the Thule's are made to handle the abuse or strain a hi-lift is going to throw at 'em. if you want something that's going to last, you're going to need to make an investment. gobi's are expensive, but they'll take all kinds of crap and stand up to it. there are some others out there as well that are made to be abused, so just do some research on the sponsor sites and find something that works for you
