Roof rack question

I bought a rooftop tent and need to put my roof rack back on. They have been off for about 10 years. One is adjusted too narrow and will not fit in the groves. How do I adjust it to make it wider? Thanks

2004 H2 Roof Rack

I am trying to reinstall my roof rack after having them off for 10 years. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the width? One of my racks is too narrow to get back in the grooves. Thanks

There is no width adjustment. Most likely you are not installing them from the rear of the truck? See thread: https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/g...f-racks-11094/

No I was trying to install from the rear but the attachment brackets on one rack is much narrower than the other one and is not wide enough to fit into the rails.
