Can anyone tell me how to remove the roof racks from my 05 h2 sut? I've tried spinning the adjuster bolts out but they just seem to bottom out and I don't want to break anything. Thanks.

 

Try This:
At the end of the guide rail at the top of the vehicle, closest to the red trim roof light, is an end cap with a spring clip. Using your finger or small flat tip screw driver, you can flex the clip forward and use the small round hole to lift the end cap off. This should work.

Once the end cap is off, you can loosen the cross bars and slide to the back and remove. You'll probably need another set of hands to help move the rail the rear so it stays parallel and doesn't pinch.
