Default Roof marker lamp cover.

Replaced the bulb in my right rear Roof marker lamp and the cover is held in by 1 screw and the plastic notch that hold the other side of the cover in place broke. I'm looking for an OEM replacement cover only for the light. I called the local dealership and also looked on line and apparently you can't purchase just the cover. The whole Roof marker lamp wires/cover is over $140. The local dealership said the cover can't be sold separately. I find this hard to believe. Can someone point me in the right direction because I'm not paying that much when all I need is the freakin' cover. Thanks.

Default roof light

The lowest price that I could find for that OEM part # 15060526 was $108. plus shipping.

As an alternative, you might be better off considering purchasing a new complete aftermarket set of roof and clearance lights set. They come in clear or smoked lenses for around $23 - $65 which includes the colored red and orange bulbs.

Check on eBay for these various systems. Otherwise you could try the wanted/for sale forum on this site and see if anyone has an old one laying around.

Hope this helps.

I don't know if I have the nuts to go an install cheap ebay lights, I learned many years ago the hard way about messing with the roof lights! I don't want them leaking into my interior, just bite the bullet and spend the measly $108 - $140

Yeah, I thought long and hard about how important it was to have a good fitting OEM part on the roof knowing I needed a good water seal. Against my will I bit the bullet and ordered the whole wiring/cover for $123.00 from gmpartsclub. That was cheaper than 3 dealerships I called in the $146.00 range. That piece of plastic cost me some jack but i know what I'm getting.

When I bought mine the passenger front corner light had a broke tab. As part of the purchase they bought a replacement. It came in and was actually the pair of corner lenses. I think you can only buy them in pairs and yes they were right around $100.

I personally really like the stock amber and red clearance lights. I have a complete set I picked up off craigs just in case I smack one of mine or one breaks. I'm always on the look out for more sets....can never have too many.

Right rear roof marker lamp. As hard and expensive as these our I would take it... I don't mind paying you something for it. Thanks.
