I will be purchasing a 2006 hummer H2 from a family memeber it has only 38k miles show room condition and the price is low for the miles , my question is I want to put bigger rims on either a 26 or 28 inch with a low profile tire not sure if that will mess which how the truck drives ... if people are steering me in the direction of putting on 325/45/24 a beefer tire and it shouldn't mess up the smooth ride I was told . Has anyone put bigger wheels or have input what I should do ..?? Thank you

 

You'll be hard pressed to find any members on ANY of the HUMMER forums running wheels like that. These are off road vehicles, generally you don't put 26-28" wheels on an off road vehicle but to each their own......

 

I understand it's an off road vehicle I'm in Boston not really many places for that , me personally I'm not into off roading I like a big SUV and the look of big wheels on the hummer just looking to see if the bigger tire with a 24" would still have a smooth ride or not .. thank you for your input

 

The smoothest ride isn't if you leave the stock 17" rims and the 35" bfgoodrich tires on.

With that low of miles..... if its in good shape and has been taken care of it is worth quite a bit more than you paid.

 

awesome ya it's in perfect condition. No cracks in leather , paint is perfect ,it's just needed a new modulator for the radio ... its pacific blue limited edition .....in your opinion since low miles is it worth keeping or sell make $ before problems start it wouldn't be an everyday truck

I would sell it to mcioci. Then take the money you made and get a two wheel drive Escalade and put the wheels and tires that you like.

 

I'm located in Wakefield Massachusetts, the hummer is stored right now in Maine at family members house who I bought it from they purchased from auction in Florida many years ago and neva drove it
