Just retired and wanted something 4wd and able t tow a camper trailer. What did I get you ask? 2006 H2. Gas mileage isn't great but I don't drive to work anymore so I'm not worried about it.
Looking forward to getting any tips and tricks to make the "Beast" an enjoyable vehicle.
Located in DFW area of Texas.

congrats on the new h2, First tip i would do it get an external trans cooler and delete the factory one. These trans coolers are known to break and destroy your transmission so i would go that route also a trans service should be done also. The h2 is more than adequate
for towing as long as you dont go to heavy. People will tow stupid loads but in reality i would not personally tow over 6k. You will find out that the trans is the weak link in the h2 especially if towing in hilly areas
