Default Replacing rear view mirror and Seats in an 2010 Alpha H3

Hi,
I am going to purchase a 2010 Alpha H3 this week, it has a problem with the rear view mirror, in that the reactive coating under the glass looks like its peeling off and is ugly! I want to replace it and see lots of rear view mirrors, used, on ebay. The one I am replacing has the camera screen integrated into the mirror, with guidelines. THe ones I am seeing on ebay for cheap, are all the same as this but with onstar.

I want to just plug and play and do not want to buy a new one at $230 plus.

Can anyone please tell me, if the wiring harness from my rear view with camera, is the same as the rear view with camera + OnStar? I don't want the onstar, it wouldn't work here in Qatar I would think but if its plug and play with my harness then I can just ignore the extra buttons.

Secondly, I want to move the heated, powered seats from my H3 Luxury to the New H3 Alpha Base Model. Are the seats compatible? I don't use the heated function here and would never need to? Is the harness the same please? It would really save me unbolting the seats to discover the harness wont fit afterwards!

Thankyou for any help!

Every US built H3 on earth came with OnStar. I am not familiar with the African built versions or whether the mirror wire harness is different. I would suspect not, but that is not a great answer.

The seats all swap w/o issue.

Did they even make an alpha without powered seats? I know championship editions could be had with cloth seats but I thought they still were power seats?

On my 2009 H3T with factory cloth there is a power driver seat and manual passenger seat. I confirmed the plugs are very different and the wiring for the power leather heated seats I was going to swap in is not under the carpet as mentioned other places

Really? I thought that Onstar was a feature of the Luxury package, or was an option? My 2006 has it, but the buttons are on the drivers side sun shade. The mirrors I am looking at, have the buttons on the rear view mirror. The 2010 Alpha I am buying, only has an on/off button on the mirror, haven't checked the sunshade yet.

Thankyou

Both the Hummers have powered seats but one has the Luxury package leather seats, I understand that the heated part of them is the difference (and the material) but I could be wrong.

Thankyou

Ahh you have the adventure? That's great, I really wanted that package, you would have thought, living in a desert, that every car sold here would have been sold with it but most of them here are luxury with lots of chrome extras! Plus, the ones that are sold as Adventure package, are not! (No locking diffs buttons) not sure if these and the different ratio would have been useful on the sand anyway as I do not know enough about how they work?

So my hope of a plug and play swap are out of the window? I don't have the know how to swap over the connectors or the tools to do it, will do some google searching. Its great here (Qatar) but they do not have access to many specialist tools and I have to Amazon US them in via a forwarding service, which is expensive and a bit slow, may consider paying someone else to do this.

Thankyou

Unless it was a fleet vehicle. No onstar, antenna or hole in the roof.

There was a fleet order of like 400 something at the end of 2010, so there might be 4-500 running around somewhere.
