Hi all, I'm wanting to put the Kenwood DNX5140 in my 06' H3. I purchased this unit from Best Buy just for the 18/mo free interest deal. I like the idea of putting this unit in on my own, but was wondering if any1 had written instructions or links to direct me to some help. Crutchfield doesn't have the instructions, but they said they can help over the phone, but didn't think they'd help unless I bought from them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

i just succesfully put in a indash pioneer cd dvd player in my o6 hummer. u must buy the attena adapter, gm wiring harnes( i bought mine from best buy and it came with three i used the big one) and the gm modual kit with the alarm. the wires for both were relativly easy to hook up however you must find a good ground, the gm moduale will have a chime thing i put tape on it too silence it.
start by diconecting battery then put fingers in the cigarett adapter and pull u and out , then only diconect the hazard and four wheel drive clips and rotate to the side, hook up all wires and replace silver face cover , by the way u need to put the vehilce in 1st and park break on and in acc makes it easyier to move the silver face around after u hook up the battery put in run and let the vehicle do a systems check the bottom dials will flash for ten to fifteen seconds then start it
