Does anyone know which GM transfer case (if any) will work with the H3 3.7I5 that has 2 *and* 4WD modes?

Don't know of one, but why would you want to..??

 

Though I could see the potential for gas savings here why would you want to spend all that money if it in fact was available!? Assuming you spend lets say 2 grand for the sakes of argument, to get it replaced ... You would have to put such a high number of miles on your vehicle before the gas savings pay for the xfer case expenditure ... Why not just set that $ aside for gas or get yourself some mods done?! Sounds like a better way to spend that money to me ...

 

plus you will have a computer nightmare, none of the dash buttons would work, traction control may be effected as well as stabilitrac.

Even if you put a selectable x-fer case in, the stuff up front is still turning from the wheels, so unless you devise a way to put selectable hubs or some type of axle disconnect on it you wont see any real increase in milage because you haven't reduced the friction load.
