Default Removing the injectors

What's the quickest way to get the injectors out? I've used the search function and google and can't find a how to. I just wanna be able to walk out to truck and do only what's necessary to get them out ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm, well, I removed the engine valve cover on the top of the engine, cause it was leaking oil and the spark plugs were flooded with oil, resealed it and painted it and put em back but couldn't see an easy way to remove the injectors though.

cant find them in my downloaded book. the fuel rail is shown. the injectors appear to be buried under the intake but are not shown. hope someone proves me wrong!
follow the wires I guess.

btw, I also have 2 versions of the actual printed books, at GREAT expense. I rarely find anything I look for in the index so I just leaf thru till I might stumble on to it. thousands of pages, dozens of repeated drawings, nothing like the good old pictures we used to get in Chilton..
lots of data,hard to find.

Default Pull the Intake

You have to remove the intake manifold to get them out, couple hour job. It is easiest to remove the drivers side tire, pull fender liner then you can get a better shot at the manifold bolts. They are 10 m/m if I remember correctly. Get a new manifold seal kit just in case (they are cheap), there are o-ring reusable seals on the intake. The most time involved is the fender liner with all the accessories (battery, battery tray, wiring etc). I also bought a handful of those goofy plastic rivets that hold everything together, most came out fine but some did break when trying to get them out, you will see what I mean. Then re-install in reverse order. Hope that helps, good luck.

oh, You may want to consider while you in there, jnust do them all. There like 25-30 ea.. I would... If you don't, likely youll be back at it again soon..
Big believer in preventative maintenance..

they also make a flush kit its like 75 bucks or so that works for some people. I had one acting up and throwing a code on my old work car..flushed it and its been 10k no problems..just an option.
