I put two 12 inch kicker solo-baric L7 subs in a sealed box, a kicker ZX1500.1 watt amp, and a 5 farad capacitor in my 08 H3 and am currently working on dynamatting it. I have the entire rear door and the two front doors done. I still need to do the two rear passenger doors and I need to do the head liner. The roof being so large and flat is a rattle can. I have never removed a head liner and am needing some info. Is it as simple as removing all the side moldings and popping off the center light fixtures or is the head liner glued to the roof? I also have a sunroof and don't want to cause any leakage with an improper removal and reinstall. Any info anyone can provide would be great.

 

I've only partially dropped my headliner at the front, no clips or glue noted. It's held up by the various trim bits and door/sunroof welting. Overall, I'm happy with the build quality becase I can always put things back together the way they are meant to be.

There's no chance to cause leaks by dropping the headliner. Just make sure you don't knock one of the 4 sunroof frame drain pipes loose and you'll be okay.
