Default Removing center console issue

I am trying to remove the center console of a 2007 h2. I got the bucket out, cup holder, gear shift, the bolts at bottom and under ac control area...HOWEVER there are 2 hex head bolts on center dash panel on each side of the ac vents. The bolts have like a bead or a ball or a half of a bb in it preventing me from putting in an allen wrench or torx. This is not a like a secure bolt with the little pin in the center like you see in mens room bathrooms where the pisser divider wall is bolted into cement. This bolt has a blue round ball in in it.

Is this just cosmetic? I need to pull out the radio and I think these need to be removed.

Any ideas?

metal from what I can tell. I tried digging them out with a pick and it feels like it is part of the bolt itself

I found that link in my searches... thanks for trying to help me figure this out

Yea, that's not a stock bolt of any kind, some DA crammed something into it...

Is there another way to access the xm module? Maybe by way of glove box?

Take a small drill bit or a dremmel and drill the blue whatever it is out. Being careful not to damage the hex.
