Default Removed On-star= Open slot

So I've completely removed my interior on my 03" h2 and I'm working on making it all black. I want to also remove my On-star system and put something else there. Its a spot big enough for a regular sided radio to fit. Any good idea on what to put in there?

I've seen guys put a CB radio in that hole. Great for trail runs for truck to truck communication.

Yeah, don't use it 95% of the time but when we are on the trails it is absolutely necessary.

Thanks Miami, since i'm getting 5% tint all around, i was thinking...where am i going to place the manual switch for my rear camera. Perfect! I was also looking into visor monitor on the drivers side, so i can retain my factory radio.

I may remove it too , we hate it . my wife press it by mistake couple time and almost got an accident cause she shocked with the annoying voice screaming "ONSTAR READY" ON AND ON AND ON
Please post after removal so we can follow the procedure

I find the On Star to be useful and I am glad I have it. We also have two Cadillacs and also have the On Star service with those as well.

What else does it do besides track your stolen vehicle? You really think its worth what you pay?
