Default Remove Switch Panel, Driver Door, '06 H3

Any tips / photos regarding the removal of the driver side door switch panel? Saw one thread describing the use of interior pry tools to do this. Hope to find a little more info / photos. My dealer even managed to break a hold down tab requiring the replacement of the switch panel. Would like to remove the panel without destroying anything! Harbor Freight has a low cost nylon trim & molding tool set that sounds like it might do the trick (5 Piece Auto Trim and Molding Tool Set)

Thanks Much.

You should be able to do it with those. Or you could use a skinny, slot screwdriver. The switch panel is held in with a metal spring clip at front and back. Just pry up on alternating edges. I saw a writeup on speaker replacement that shows how to get them off while removing the door panels.

I own those plastic pry tools and they are perfect for that type of job.
The door switch panel controls comes out if you pry the ends only.
That is where the clips are located. Don't pry the middle section
I did not have to remove my whole door panel.

be aware there are some screws under little plugs that need to come out. I used no other tools after poping one corner with a screw driver.
..in august when it was warmer and plastic didn't break so easily!
