Default Remote transmitter

My H3 does not have the three universal remote transmitter in it but the owners manual acts like this is standard equipment, not optional.
How many of you folks have it and who stole mine?

I had to order this "Homelink" option when I got my truck in 07.
I assume you are speaking of the Homelink module in the sun visor, for garage doors ?

I love this unit so much, I ordered and installed one in my other vehicle.
They are very compact and require a constant 12V to work

5 out of 6 of the HUMMERs we have owned have had it. A very convenient feature once programmed.

Welcome to MITO-Auto
Gotcha! Did you install it in the headliner or visor? How much trouble was it?
I wonder if the rear view mirror model would be easier way to go.
Thanks for your help

The mirror might be easier, but don't you have all that other stuff in your mirror, Onstar, Temp and compass, phone ?

I installed my second unit from Mito in a removable panel in my headliner in my other car.
It was not a simple project, but certainly not impossible

Yes I do. Nice clean job on yours.
No removable panels in the H3. Sent email to them to see if it mirror would work. Wish I could just find part number to the H3 visor.

you can google "junk yards", pick out a few phone numbers and call them, chat about what you need and they will give you price and shipping info.
its not hard to buy stuff for cars at the many junk yards on the net.

dont struggle, keep it simple.

Here's the part numbers for the H3 sun visors with universal garage door opener. Scroll down and it's no. 20 (Sunshade). Choose your color and options from the list.

Hope this helps!
