Looking for a remote starter for the H2, does anyone have any suggestions of some quality products?!

I have installed hundreds of them and my personal favorite is the autopage 850lcd. runs on fm frequensies and gives you over 3000 foot range. I can lock/unlock my doors and start my truck while I'm still on the third level of a shopping mall...awesome unit.Plus it has a built in temp guage that shows on your lcd display key fob, lots of cool little things come with it. Just make sure you get the proper overide units to bypass passlock and to control your doorlock functions.

no sweat, glad I can help.

BTW....be careful if your installing it, kinda tricky trying to find out what bypass module you need to use.

If I end up going with this one I'm having it done by my dealer or the customs shop I've gone to for years now .. too much crap involved and to be quite honest I really don't want to mess with it LOL!

As far as bypass modules, yep, that was my next issue LOL! I'm going to call this place and see what they have to say ...

you would need the GM-SL2 I think. it's actually very easy to install. just a few wires, nothing like the 30 or so wires that they used to need. the GM-SL2 plugs into the auto start box with one cable, that elimintes about 15 wires there. Then you just need to tap into the iginition, starter, acc power, constant power, and ground...thats it!! The GM-SL2 splices into the a wire going into your data bus plug and controls all the door locks and other functions through that one wire!!!

yup, GMSL2...pretty cool when the temp reaches a certain degree the GMSL2 will automatically turn on your heated mirrors and heated seats...thats awesome!!

this link shows everything the gmsl2 does for a 2004 hummer h2, don't know what year you have but they are all similiar.

No ****!? That's it ... that definitely changes things a little bit ...
Now if I could get that system to open my garage door for me as a part of the startup sequence and I'd say we got ourselves a clear cut case of perfection ....
I'm gunna check in to it and prolly order once I get back from Cali next week .. It may not be snowing here yet but it's still colder than a well diggers a-hole in the mornings lol ... I .. ummm ... "need" this!
