Red light comes on

Red light comes on
The red light on the picture comes on and off every once in a while. It goes away if I turn off my truck then turn it back on. I want to know if it's nothing to worry about or if it's bad and need to get it fixed? It's a 2004 hummer h2.

Mine used to do the same along with the Service 4x4 message on the DIC. Eventually it went away to never come back *knock on wood*
Many people will say to periodically cycle through all your 4x4 modes to get the transfer case moving and all the parts oiled. I have never actually switched mine since I've owned it in the last 4 years....
